350mm Night Blades would be nice.

Jeremy, I hope we get some also down the road...but until then you can contact "teeroy" (Troy Blackwell) on Helifreak he and his buddy Rick Copeland hand make the best night blades out there...you can just send them a set of 350mm blades and they will modify them into night blades...they have been doing this for the top pilots in the country for a couple of years...Bobby Watts, Bert Kammerer to name a couple...

I don't think Troy or Rick will be at IRCHA this year as fuel is so dang expensive...or you could get a set made during the event most likely...

these are the brightest night blades you will ever see! they almost hurt the eyes to look at in flight! He can do to any set or size of blades...although he really doesn't prefer to do V-Blades as they require extra work as the V's are conductive and he has to run "pin stripe" tape under the copper tape he uses to wire up the LED's

Not sure about his price...can figure probably at least $40 to modify a set of 350's

I to would also love night blades for my outrage in 350mm size night flying is basically the only flying time i get =(

Update on 350mm Night blades!

Chance from "Xerogear" is working on a DIY night blade kit...if you have ever seen his night fly LED system he sells it is AMAZINGLY bright! Almost too bright...especially on a smaller heli like the G5...I am hoping to have a prototype DIY Night Blade kit shipped to me very soon to try on a set of 350mm G5 blades. When I do I will post results here...or at least if Chance allows me too...as they are his prototypes....

Helidirect sell the LED Xerogear night fly system for the 450 size helis that would work GREAT on the G5!

I have also been in contact with MS Composites and they think they can do up night blades in 350mm size no problems...although they did not give me any kind of date when they might have them ready for sale...
